Welcome to Golden Age Rituals
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our massage sessions and website. By accessing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these conditions, please do not use our services.
We are committed to providing professional, safe, and effective bodywork services in compliance with Dutch health, safety, and consumer protection regulations.
1. Service Agreement
By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
Services are provided by a professional massage therapist at Golden Age Rituals.
All sessions are strictly non-medical and are offered purely for wellness, relaxation, and stress-reducing purposes.
We do not provide sessions aimed at diagnosing or managing physical or mental ailments. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
Clients are advised to consult a physician for any physical or psychological concerns. Golden Age Rituals does not diagnose illness or prescribe pharmaceuticals.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
2. Booking & Cancellation Policy
Notice Period
- ·Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 12 hours in advance via the cancel option in your booking confirmation link or by phone.
Late Cancellations (less than 12 hours' notice)
- ·Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice will incur a charge of 50% of the service fee.
- ·In accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to bookings made for a specific date and time.
- ·Cancellations made more than 12 hours before your scheduled Ritual will receive a full refund of the deposit.
No-Shows & Last-Minute Cancellations (within 4 hours)
- ·We value your time and ours. If you cancel within 4 hours of the start of your scheduled Ritual, or do not show up without notice, the 25% deposit is non-refundable.
- ·Golden Age Rituals reserves the right to invoice an additional 50% of the remaining service fee as compensation for the empty time slot.
- ·Future bookings may be restricted until any outstanding balance is settled.
Late Arrivals
- ·To ensure the best experience for all guests, arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session or cancellation of the appointment, with the late cancellation fee applied.
3. Payments, Deposits & Packages
Deposit
- ·A deposit of 25% is required to successfully confirm your appointment.
- ·Deposits are fully refundable for cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance.
- ·Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations within 12 hours of the appointment.
Remaining Payment
- ·The remaining balance can be settled online, in person, or at the time of service.
- ·We accept cash, debit cards, and major credit cards. All prices include 21% VAT as required by Dutch law.
Gift Cards & Prepaid Packages
- ·Gift cards and prepaid packages are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
- ·In accordance with EU consumer rights, unused gift cards and prepaid packages purchased online may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided no sessions have been booked or used. After 14 days (or once a session is used), gift cards and packages are non-refundable.
- ·If a booking made with a gift card or prepaid package is cancelled within 12 hours of the appointment or results in a no-show, the full value of the session will be deducted from the voucher balance.
- ·Gift cards may be transferred to another person but are non-refundable outside the 14-day window.
4. Provider Rights & Rescheduling
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to therapist illness or unforeseen emergencies. In these rare cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a session immediately if professional boundaries are violated or if the safety of our team is at risk.
5. Health & Safety
By booking an appointment, the client confirms they are in good general health and assume responsibility for their own wellbeing during the session.
The client is responsible for informing the therapist of any health conditions, physical concerns, or pregnancy before the session begins.
Pregnancy: Our sessions are not offered to clients in their first trimester of pregnancy.
All sessions are received at the client's own risk.
We maintain strict hygiene and sanitation protocols at all times.
Any adverse reactions during a session should be reported immediately.
Clients under 18 require written parental consent and must be accompanied by a guardian.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide safe and effective sessions, professional bodywork carries inherent risks. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by Dutch law.

- ·Massage sessions are not a substitute for medical care.
- ·Results may vary and are not guaranteed.
- ·We are not liable for pre-existing conditions.
- ·Clients assume responsibility for any health information they choose not to disclose.
- ·Our professional liability insurance covers sessions provided within the scope of our training. Any claims must be reported within 30 days of the incident.
7. Professional Standards
We maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and expect the same from our clients. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

8. Changes to These Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated conditions. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
